How the estimate works

Only qualified views earn Creator Rewards, so the calculator first reduces your total views to qualified views and then applies an RPM range:

  • Qualified views = views per day × share that qualifies
  • Daily earnings = qualified views ÷ 1,000 × RPM
  • Monthly earnings = daily earnings × 30.4
  • Yearly earnings = daily earnings × 365

The default values (60 % qualified views and an RPM of $0.40 to $1.00) are placeholder assumptions, not figures published by TikTok. Payouts vary widely by country, niche and content type, and the program rules can change. If you are already in the program, divide last month's earnings by your qualified views and multiply by 1,000 to get your own RPM.

Worked example

Your videos get 50,000 views a day, 60 % of them qualify, and you assume an RPM between $0.40 and $1.00:

  • Qualified views: 50,000 × 0.6 = 30,000 per day
  • Per day: 30 × $0.40 = $12, up to 30 × $1.00 = $30
  • Per month: about $365 to $913
  • Per year: $4,380 to $10,950

Short-form RPMs tend to be low, so it usually makes sense to plan Creator Rewards as one income stream among several, next to brand deals, affiliate links or your own products.

Frequently asked questions

How much does TikTok pay per 1,000 views? +

There is no single published rate. Creator Rewards payouts depend on factors such as how many views qualify, the audience location, engagement and the program rules at the time. Use the RPM fields to set the range you think is realistic, and check your own dashboard if you are already in the program.

What is a qualified view? +

TikTok counts only some views toward Creator Rewards, for example views on videos that meet the minimum length and originality rules. The exact rules change over time, so check TikTok's current program terms. In this calculator you set the share of your views that qualify.

What is RPM on TikTok? +

RPM is revenue per 1,000 qualified views: the amount you are paid divided by qualified views, times 1,000. If you have Creator Rewards data, you can calculate it from your earnings and qualified views for a recent month.

Does this include LIVE gifts, brand deals or TikTok Shop? +

No. The calculator estimates Creator Rewards earnings from views only. Brand partnerships, LIVE gifts, subscriptions and affiliate sales are separate income streams.
